Symphony North of Houston is excited to invite you to our 2024 Early Spring concert. We will perform on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 4:00 PM. Our concert venue is Salem Lutheran Church in Tomball, Texas. Admission to our concerts is by donation. At the performance, we will be accepting donations. You may also donate online.
This concert will be conducted by our principal conductor, Dr. Karl Blench. The repertoire features Dmitri Shostakovich’s Festive Overture; 1st Place Violin winner, Corinne McLeod, performing Samuel Barber’s Concerto for Violin and Orchestra; 1st Place Cello winner, Joel Park, performing Antonín Dvořák’s Cello Concerto; 1st Place Piano winner, Chris Hao, performing Sergei Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3; 1st Place Wind winner, Patrick Umanzor, performing François Borne’s Fantaisie Brillante sur Carmen; and Bedřich Smetana’s The Moldau.
